Mandate
The primary focus of Kainai Community Corrections Society is to provide culturally sensitive and community based Corrections Programs and other services for any person in our jurisdiction that is affected by the criminal justice system. Emphasis is placed on community and interagency involvement.
One of the main objectives of KCCS is to respond to the highly disproportionate rates amongst our people involved in the criminal justice system. We believe that by working with our own community based resources we can provide a more effective result, so in turn, our offenders may be able to become more productive and orderly members of our community.
